Kitchen Design
We know embarking on any kitchen project is daunting, so the most important attribute of any kitchen designer is to listen and understand how the client wants to use it in future
Which is why ours spend time listening to ensure they truly understand how you want to live and use it in it in the future. Only then will we design some options using the latest CAD software – similar to that which you’ll have seen on TV – to create a truly spectacular set of renderings showing what it would look like.
Our process begins with an initial showroom visit or video conference call to listen and understand how the client wants to use it in the future. followed by a site visit to measure up. From there we will design – and redesign several times if necessary – your kitchen until you’re completely happy with it. Once our designers have produced a scheme that you’re truly happy with, we will then project manage the whole installation from any building works through to completion.
The biggest demand in new kitchens is for their space – however large or small – to be optimised whilst still maintaining an eye-catching look with practical qualities and ease of cleaning. Your new kitchen needs to be designed not only for its aesthetics but also its ease of use and allow you to keep it clean and hygienic
Our designers take this all into account when surveying new projects. Modern trends are for contemporary kitchens; eye level ovens and separate hobs; painted finishes are still popular whilst upstands and glass splashbacks are challenging traditional tiles. Lighting is increasingly important to highlight key design features, help change the mood and make using the kitchen safe.
Nicholas Hythe Kitchens has been awarded prestigious Neff 5* Master Partner status – which essentially means we have unrivalled knowledge of all Neff appliances. We are one of only two in Cambridgeshire.
There is an increasing trend for flush fitting ceiling mounted extractor fans for clients looking to achieve a stylish, minimalist look rather than the chimney hood style which can take up a lot of valuable space. Ask us for details.
We do not see the design and fitting of a new kitchen as a ‘one-off’ transaction with clients. We see it as the start of an ongoing relationship. By doing a great job we believe clients will recommend our service or, if they move home, come back for another kitchen!
