I chose Nicholas Hythe after they were recommended by a friend whose kitchen had made a fantastic impression on me. Designing my own kitchen was always going to be a challenge due to the age and character of my house. There are low ceilings, a narrow staircase, an old Victorian oven, and, to make things even more difficult, not a single wall is straight and the corners are certainly not perfect 45-degree angles!

I therefore needed a company and designer who could create a kitchen that respected the age and character of the house, while also being practical, functional and beautiful. Leon rose to the challenge brilliantly.

He designed a fantastic layout that works seamlessly with the original features of the house, incorporating an impressive amount of storage, as well as the most glorious breakfast pantry, which I absolutely love. I now have a kitchen with all the modern features you could wish for, while still blending perfectly with the historic character of the house.

The fitting was carried out by Eddie and James, whose joinery skills were absolutely first class. With the wonky walls and uneven angles, every panel needed to be cut to a slightly different angle, and their attention to detail and craftsmanship were exceptional.

There isn't a single aspect of the kitchen that I would change. It is a truly top-notch job from the whole team at Nicholas Hythe, and I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a beautiful, bespoke kitchen and exceptional workmanship.

We highly recommend Nicholas Hythe for their exceptional kitchen design services. Leon designed a stunning kitchen for us and provided invaluable guidance throughout the selection process. Although we encountered a few issues at the beginning, they were quickly resolved, thanks to the team's prompt attention. Paula and Bill stayed closely involved during the installation, ensuring that we were satisfied at every stage. Their dedication to customer service and attention to detail truly made our renovation experience enjoyable. Billy (designer) listened to us and helped design the perfect kitchen for our new home. The service from him and his team was impeccable, and they went above and beyond to deliver exactly what we wanted and more. Having visited numerous kitchen suppliers prior to Nicholas Hythe we were very surprised to learn that Billy could not only design a superior kitchen in terms of the layout and quality - but at a lower price quoted by all of its competitors that we had previously consulted. (3 very well known kitchen suppliers).

The kitchen itself is of fantastic quality and we are genuinely thrilled with how everything came together.

Billy and his team were professional and kept us updated throughout. The interaction and communication with ourselves was exceptional. The kitchen was delivered on time, within budget, and minor issues were dealt with swiftly and efficiently by Jimmy who availed himself throughout the project for questions on the more practical elements of the design and installation.

We had an excellent experience working Nicholas Hythe. Bill helped us with some excellent designs and the team then installed exactly what was planned in a remarkably easy and considerate fashion.

We did hit an issue when damp was discovered after removal of the old kitchen. But, with Jim's help the best solution was found and installed.

We are delighted with the final kitchen, it looks great and is also so much warmer than the old one!

We had our kitchen designed and fitted by Nicholas Hythe in 2020 and still love it to this day. Unfortunately, one of the door hinges failed recently and we struggled to identify a replacement on the internet. We contacted Nicholas Hythe to see if they could help us and we have to say they were brilliant. They could not have been more helpful and very kindly gave us a replacement. Nicholas Hythe have been fantastic. From the first day visiting the showroom, design, assistance choosing colours and styles they were really helpful without being pushy. Every step of the way we were informed of how and who would be doing the different stages. The coordination was amazing and the entire project went like clockwork, we had no worries and even left them whilst we were away. All the workmen were pleasant, respectful and worked to a really high standard. Result: one fabulous kitchen that has transformed our living space. What can you ask for from a kitchen fitter? NH ticked every box for me. At the design phase they were detailed and meticulous, offering countless product options and discussions to suit our every specific need. All communications were handled swiftly and efficiently, with numerous on-site visits. During execution, the operation was just as productive, with a full schedule breakdown of works that was broadly adhered to. Unanticipated situations were handled gracefully, and no problem we raised was considered too trivial - everything was given maximal attention. All of that, and they aren't significantly more expensive compared to a DIY kitchen install. The payment schedule is logical and fair. I am in love with my kitchen!

Professional service from start to finish and brilliant communication before, during and after the installation. The design plans were incredible and better than I could have imagined, and to see it come to life is amazing. The fitters and support staff were on time, polite and friendly. Every step was explained and executed as planned.

We haven't had a takeaway or ready meal since the kitchen has been done, as even when I'm tired from work, I want to be in there cooking!

It popped up on my phone yesterday that it’s a year since our kitchen was started! Just wanted to say that I smile every time I go into the kitchen, I love it and there is nothing in the design that I would change having lived with it for a year.
